thank God for college:) I don't see what the huge deal is. it's more comfortable to put on a pair of flip fops than picks out a pair of socks, shoes, tie the shoes, etc.

Flip flops should be banned from schools.

ahaha at my school we can wear anytype of belts, shoes, jewlery, hair peices, etc... But we have to wear uniforms which suck major ass.

There was an article in the paper the other day debating the flip flops in the workplace issue.

There is no debate. Unless your job is at the beach, flip flops aren't to be worn to work. They are not shoes. Buy shoes.

why are they against the dress code in schools? good grief, I'm glad I'm out of the public school system. thank goodness for college.

Wow, most of the girls at my school would have major fits if they heard they couldn't wear flip flops! Flip flops are okay. I only have one pair myself, and they're NICE flip flops: made from leather and other materials actual shoes are made from. Not like the cheap plastic kinds you can buy at the Dollar General.
