I am thinking of getting this. It sounds like a neat little movie. A lot of my favorite people are in it. Jim Backus, Ken Berry, Eva Gabor, Hans Conried, and Werner Klemperer.

Here is what it's about

Plot Synopsis: During the latter days of WW2 an American Lieutenant (Berry), accidentally falls out of an airplane that he was on and falls into German territory. He is taken in by a Baroness (Gabor). She is taken with him and doesn't want him to leave, so she doesn't tell him that the war has ended. So, for nearly five years he thinks that the war is still going on, and so when he leaves her estate he thinks that he has to do what he can to defeat the Germans, cause he can't find anyone who speaks English or is willing to tell him that the war is over.

...TV movie that first aired on ABC's "MOVIE OF THE WEEK" in late 1969 [actual running time, minus commercials and "MOTW" titles and bumpers and local station breaks, is about 73 minutes]. It was pretty funny..you couldn't produce that kind of "frothy" comedy today. Today, we're all a little "jaded"-
and who produces "90 minute" TV movies these days? Even the "two-hour" TV movie is in danger of extinction, 'gilligan'! By all means, get it, see it, cherish it, make love to it, do what you have to do to ENJOY it!!!!

They didn't have it when I went back. In fact, I forgot all about it till just now. I'll have to go back and check again.
