I've always wondered how many times the re-runs have been showed ; no one would happen to know , would they??? Also , when the series was still "active" , how many episodes were shown each night??? ( I just "discovered" M*A*S*H in the fall of 2004 , so I never saw it on T.V. each night ,eagerly antcipating the next episode ...:D )

I'm not sure if this answers your question or not, but the show ran Sept. '72-Feb.'83 with one episode a week (ranging from like 20-25 episodes a season). It's pretty much been in syndication since then, but it really depends on where you live how frequently it plays...
Does that help? Sorry? I'm not sure myself if it was syndicated during the standard run! I was 1 1/2 when it went off the air!

It aired part of the CBS Late Movie too sometime during the late 70's early 80's too.

Yep , thanks a lot. I can't imagine having to wait a week before seeing another episode , though!

also in the late 70s; the reruns were getting such good ratings that CBS started showing them on weekday afternoons; as well as part of the "CBS late movie". They stopped doing that about 81.

They can also now be seen many, many times on DVD. :D
