View Full Version : Step by Step more watchable than Full House on Friday Nights in Early 90's?
TVFactFan 06-27-2006, 08:35 PM I remember being so glad that STEP BY STEP was added to the TGIF Lineup in the Fall of 1991 because it was a BIG IMPROVEMENT over Full House which I was glad to see TAKEN OFF Friday Nights. Anyone agree with me that STEP BY STEP was an underated sitcom over the 90's?
BTW: I wish Step by Step can replace Full House on N@N
Ireneparalegal 06-27-2006, 08:37 PM Anything was more watcheable...two dogs fighting is more interesting...watching paint dry is more interesting. God, even a Good Times episode featuring Judith Cohen is MORE WATCHEABLE.

Yeah I didn't do the poll, mybe I should have but I was saying I have a feeling more will choose FH
Ireneparalegal 06-27-2006, 08:52 PM Of course, look at the FH board...compare that to the Step by Step board. There is no guessing there. and if you already know FH will be the "winner" than why ask the question? LOL

LOOK at your last sentence in your post...you asked a question...if SBS was underrated...
Ireneparalegal 06-27-2006, 09:00 PM it was different, i wouldn't compare SBS to Full House. I don't see where UNDERRATED comes in.
MikeLutton 06-27-2006, 09:09 PM anything more watchable then Full house i have no idea how that show lasted that long full house was awfull fake and courny

I think SBS was a great show and would make the N@N lineup very attractive-lol
Pavan 06-27-2006, 09:28 PM Especially the later seasons when Al got so hot! I know Solomon liked Dana in the later seasons.
I'm watching the later seasons right now in the mornings on ABC Family...good stuff.

I watched it mainly from 91-94, after that I was out partying on fridays in college.
TVJunkie101 06-27-2006, 10:42 PM I liked the middle seasons the best ... I wasn't too fond of the last couple of seasons. But yes, Step by Step is way more watchable than Full House. If ABC Family ever gives up Step by Step, no way Nick@Nite wouldn't pick it up.
snl 70s show fan 06-27-2006, 11:22 PM i wlways liked step by step better than full house
Yooch 06-28-2006, 06:32 AM I liked them both, but SBS better, probably because it dealt with issues of people who were generally older. I don't know and really can't explain why, but I always liked SBS. One thing I liked about both FH and SBS is that there was, in my opinion, a good balance between the silliness and the serious issues.
Mrgman 06-28-2006, 08:31 PM I watch them both regulary on ABC Family but SBS in the better show I mean Cody was better then Kimmy Gibbler He was way funnier. Same thing with Rich and steve
