i just assemebled another world famous bargain lot

another 250 assorted tv dvds,

avaible in swap for 400 blanks plus $8 priority shipping

the usual conditions will apply

NO LISTS this is a bargain group, if i wanted to spend time on a list, i wouldnt allow them to go so reasonably

i will only accept actual taiyo yuden blanks

lucky trade winner will pay the actual postage, $8 for priority ship

these discs are over stocks, discs from trades i dont want, or already have, left overs from sales or trades, etc etc

a great way to get a bunch of new trade materials

and as always, first confirmed deal gets the group

Any hints as to what is on the discs. TV is pretty vague; I mean it could be episodes of The View.

absolutely not, thats why its such a bargain

i dont choose to spend the time to list it all, if i did, i wouldnt discount them, that would be stupid

vauge yes, reasonable to get--absolutely

at about 10% of the cheapest going rate for discs

if you need a list, this isnt for you

thats why i boldly said, no lists

its a great way for soemone to invest some time and add a bunch of items to their swap list

Are these complete shows or 250 discs of various episodes?

I think I can safely say Loren will not be including any episodes of the VIEW on his bargain lots lol.

I would think you can take a look at his list- to give an idea- as he said a lot are sales or trades that didn't go through.

just my opinion. Not a spokesperson for the mighty bargain bin.

Loren, don't you think that 400 TY discs (cost: $160 at rima.com, maybe they're cheaper elsewhere) plus shipping cost to you plus $8 postage is a HUGE risk for someone who doesn't have a clue what they're getting?

It doesn't seem at all likely to me that someone is going to gamble away almost $200 in the hopes that it might work out well for them. At $3-4/disc (a typical ioffer price for a set I'd say), someone could just as easily get a 60-70 disc set, or a couple of smaller sets, of something they know they want for the same cost.

Do what you will, I don't care, but it might be something to think about as people certainly aren't clamoring to get this world famous bargain.

"at about 10% of the cheapest going rate for discs"

I think it is a joke to post that people will be getting the discs for 10% of the cheapest going rate here on a site that is set up to be a FREE TRADE group. The cheapest rate to get discs you WANT is to trade in a TRADING group.

I guess, I just see it as someone trying to boast that they normally get a bare minimum of $1500 for these discs. Am I misreading this?

400 TY's=about $150 and if it is 10% of what the current sellers market price...Isn't that $1500 for 250 discs?

Oh well....the old seller versus trader debate...I just think that there shouldn't be ANY reference to selling here.

actualy 27 cents a disc, so $108 plus actual ship charges

and yes i have moved about 15 of these lots and most were in a couple hours

look at it this way

even the lowest cost --dvd whores-- are at aprox $3 a disc, some are a little less, most are a lot more

your actualy paying for about 36 discs at a " going rate " and getting 214 more for absolute free

and you said it in a post recently, that a starter lot like this is a good way to build a trade selection

based on your cost numbers, no its not a big thrill, but on my numbers, it does become a nice bargain
