While Ron Howard did some directing work after he left Happy Days in 1980, I have not heard of anything Donny Most (Ralph Malph) did after that year. The two left at the same time. What happened to Donny, if anything?

View Full Version : Why did Donny Most leave "Happy Days"? I believe he may have done an episode with Erin Moran if I'm not mistaken. Not a great career move on his part, but then again, after Ron Howard left, staying on that show wouldn't have been one, either. TJL 06-29-2006, 07:49 PM Donny left to persue his own acting career outside Hapy Days Anyone know how that's going? TVFactFan 07-01-2006, 07:54 PM Donny Most depature was confusing because he wasn't that big of a star on the show so you would think he would stay to have a larger role on the show since Ron Howard left. He should have milked his role like everyone else on that show did. On the other hand, he has the honor of not being associated with the show during what is considered by many to be its downfall. Happy Days should have seen the light and filmed a final episode at the end of the 7th season...perhaps with the boys graduating college and looking forward to their future. And with Chachi being drafted and sent to a place called Vietnam.:D TVFactFan 07-02-2006, 12:35 PM He should have milked his role like everyone else on that show did. And with Chachi being drafted and sent to a place called Vietnam.:D I was going to say at First VIETNAM?? but then I realized the time period you was referring to would have been the late 60's-lol But Yes it was no need to go any further after 81-82, HD could have ended and spnned off Joanie and Chachi and that show would have had a longer run since there was no more Happy Days Brian Damage 07-02-2006, 12:40 PM I thought they were drafted and went to Korea? anglemark10 07-02-2006, 04:23 PM They enlisted and ended up in Greenland. dave insinga 07-02-2006, 10:02 PM that im sure had a factor on his decision |
