Janet shouldn't have left the hallway. She takes the baby in the room and, if the mother came back, she wouldn't know where they went.

I laughed and agreed. I guess back then things were more relaxed. But then this is coming from the same generation that never put their kids in car seats and let their kids ride in the front seat of the car with their feet sticking out of the windows!! LOL!!

Yep I remember all those things. I never wore a helmet when I rode a bike and yet I never came close to cracking my head. :eek: I rarely wore seatbelts but the seatbelts back then didn't even come over your shoulder. A good crash and I probably still would have went through the window and half the time I had to stand up on the bus coming home from school so I know that wasn't to safe. :lol:

I can remember so many things that we did as kids that today would be considered either dangerous or crazy. LOL!! Who would have thought it back then?

We never wore helmets. Drank from the water hose. I can remember riding thru huge water puddles and not once worrying about anything living in the water. I loved riding with my feet hanging out the window and watching the light poles go past.
