Any math whizzes out there?:)

If I have 35 different numbers, from 1-35, and I have to put them in five number portions, how many five number portions can I come up with? For example

1 2 3 4 5
6 7 8 9 10
11 12 13 14 15
16 17 18 19 20
21 22 23 24 25
26 27 28 29 30
31 32 33 34 35

(^^this is just straight 1-35)

How many times can I "switch" up numbers, such as

6 9 10 11 28?
7 8 15 26 35


and so on?

38,955,840, assuming that by number portions you mean the number of combinations of five digits the numbers in that set can make? i'm sure enough 35! would be the formula for how many combinations of 35 digits it can make, but it's only five, so just 35! down to 31 would be the formula i think...since the first digit has 35 possibilities and the numbers don't repeat so then that subtracts one possibility for the next digit, and so on, until there are only five digits rather than 35. if that made any sense...

That's what I mean. If I put every number from 1-35 in five number sections, but use every number only once, I was wondering how many different "sections" I could use. Thanks for helping.:)

I suck at math, too. I've never been diagnosed, but I swear I'm discalculic. Math makes me confused. :confused:
