Watch Season 2 on the LITB DVD for "Happy Weekend" in the scene with Wally and Beaver laughing in bed when up at the cabin. The wonderful brother interactions with Jerry and Tony in that scene is brilliantly done. Beaver's line about "a bear coming to eat them" and the boys playfully laughing about it is so good! It is so natural that it seems ad-libbed!

You must have the DVD to see this scene as TV Land and all syndicated versions of LITB cut this out. This is exactly why classic shows such as LITB should always be shown uncut.

They were good brothers. Their characters were not written as adversaries. They had their problems here and there, but it was more good than bad. I notice that Wally often tried to help Beaver out of any jams he got himself in.
