No one leaves a 12 year old girl home alone in the projects so it did't make sense for Penny not to be at the restarunt with them. Now if Willona was just vising the Evans she really didn't need to have Penny with her

again, she probably stayed with a friend, or a neighbor friend. I had stated way back when abt this same thing and that is what i was told.

i also stated how Willona was somewhat "throwing herself" at him, she was flirtatious...which is why I think Penny wasn't "around" it would have looked awkward for Willona to behave that way in front of her daughter.

I don't see why not, she left Penny alone to go Christmas shopping and if they didn't meet up at the store, Penny had to find her own way home by herself.
