Do you have a favorite salad dressing? I sure do. since I'm a southern girl, I"m gonna have to say ranch dressing. It's hella fattening tho (like i care *eats salad*)

So what's yours?

Ranch for sure!! I love it! I could dip fries in it, buffalo wings, pizza (shh, it's good!) or even have it on sandwiches/burgers. It's the shiz

I HATEHATEHATE ALLLLLLLLLL salad dressings, except for one, and that is peppercorn caesar. Even so, I can only put VERY small amounts of peppercorn caesar dressing on my salad. I know people think I'm weird, but I can't stand the taste of salad dressings..too gross and greasy. Plus I really don't like the taste of anything, not even ranch.

Hidden Valley Ranch, is my ultimate favorite dressing.

And always has to be the Hidden Valley brand.

The other brands are disgusting :barf:

I really prefer 1000 Islands dressing, but I'll take Italian or Ranch if it's not available! :)

Ranch but I only like the homemade kind. I used to work part time at a hotel/restaurant and they made their Ranch dressing from scratch. It was so good. I hate the kinds you buy at the store.

I buy the Dole Caesar salad kit in the produce section. It's very good.

Hmm. I've never thought of buying something like that. I'll have to look for it next time I'm at the store.

It includes a bag of Romaine lettuce, croutons, Caesar dressing and grated cheese (all in packets). I make two salads for before dinner. You could probably handle eating one yourself, lol.

Yum! That's making me hungry right now. I'm at work for about another two hours this evening, but I think I will head over to the supermarket right after work and pick one up. A light meal (salad with croutons and the fixings) sound damn tasty right now. And I'm not a big salad-eater either! Of course, I will add some turkey cubes or bacon bits in it. I have to have some meat in it.

They have a light/lo-cal version, but I wouldn't mess with that.

Oh, when I meant "light" I didn't mean the fat-free/low cal stuff. I meant that having a salad would be a "lighter" meal than a greasy and heavy meal I normally have. I agree with you - I would NOT even mess with those. puke:

lol...I drown my salads.

My favs are ranch honey mustard, and creamy parmesan. Maybe I'm weird...but I hate Hidden Valley Ranch. What I wish is that I could find whatever a lot of restaurants use....OMG. That is the BEST ranch ever. But until then I settle for T. Marzetti Fat Free.

I wish I had it. I know they used buttermilk, mayonaise, garlic salt, parsley flakes and various other spices but how much of each ingredient I don't remember. I'm sure if we look around online we could probably find it or at least one similar to it.
