This one airs here where I am every single day of the year, FOR YEARS & YEARS (it's like it never goes away) - I'm quite sick of it.

I think part of the reason is because Cdn Networks have to show a certain amount of Cdn. content to keep their license

So little Canadian material makes it south any more. Other than the co-productions coming out of Vancouver, really. I used to love the fact that PBS, USA and Lifetime showed so much Canadian television.

If Adderly ever starts airing in your neighborhoo, Joker, talk to me. I'm planning to convert my Beta tapes from the '80s, but I'd much prefer to get uncut off-air recordings of that and a few other Canadian classics. I at least got a set of Seeing Things recorded (on VHS) off Bravo Canada that I hope to get converted this summer.

I get most Canadian satellite channels on my dish in Upstate New York.

I have been recording NYPD Blue from Bravo and they are nicer copies than the original ABC broadcasts. You get the Bravo logo for the first minute and that is all. No more logo the rest of the show, no pop-up promos for other shows, full-screen end credits with no voice-over.

I hate all the distractions during the actual shows that are so prevalent on most channels now.
