Janice 06-19-2006, 08:46 PM
I saw that earlier. She's either nuts or she was drunk. The way she falls at the very end is insane.
Courtnee 06-19-2006, 08:46 PM yeah i saw that today. pretty stupid. she knows she can't sing. so stop
crazy bitch
Dutabi84 06-19-2006, 08:56 PM That was quite disturbing. I couldn't watch much more after about a minute and a half of that. What's sad, is that she sounded very sober.
80sTrivia 06-19-2006, 09:10 PM At first, I thought maybe this was Bobby Lee doing his always hilarious impersonation of Connie on Mad TV... but it's really her making a fool of herself on TV...
Cactus Jack 06-19-2006, 09:33 PM :rotflmao:
MaydayMalonesGirl 06-19-2006, 09:46 PM Maury loves it.
EmoJoe 06-19-2006, 09:52 PM :rotflmao: WTF?
Brad Russ 06-19-2006, 09:55 PM Holy crap!!!!! I'm in total shock right now. I felt like I was watching some transvestite perform on Maury's daytime talk show. That was one of the most embarrassing things Iv'e ever seen!! What's more embarrassing, is that that lady shares the same birthday as me. ohno:
PrettyinPink55 06-19-2006, 10:17 PM Holy crap!!!!! I'm in total shock right now. I felt like I was watching some transvestite perform on Maury's daytime talk show. ohno:
I couldn't have said it better myself!!
TheHappyBurgerMeister 06-19-2006, 10:41 PM wow, that's totally effed up! What's up with the piano though? It's like totally dubbed out, but I can see the guy playing it. All I can hear is just her singing (unfortuantly)
Dr. John Becker 06-19-2006, 10:43 PM WOW! As if people didn't make fun of her enough already.
She just lost any hope of getting another job in TV news.
Mr. Stefani 06-19-2006, 11:07 PM ha thats hilarious
Kristen 06-19-2006, 11:07 PM OMG, that was.....interesting! lol Am I the only one who couldn't help thinking of that episode of The Golden Girls when Blanche got on a piano and sang "I Wanna Be Loved By You"? Not to mention Sophia's version of "Thanks for the Memories," lol.
James"Thunder"Early 06-19-2006, 11:51 PM OMG, that was.....interesting! lol Am I the only one who couldn't help thinking of that episode of The Golden Girls when Blanche got on a piano and sang "I Wanna Be Loved By You"? Not to mention Sophia's version of "Thanks for the Memories," lol. That's funny, I thought of the same things! Especially the part Blanche fell backwards on the piano!
Brian Damage 06-20-2006, 12:03 AM I didn't even realize that Maury and Connie had a show together.
Brent88 06-20-2006, 12:09 AM I didn't even realize that Maury and Connie had a show together.
It aired on SATURDAY MORNINGS on MSNBC. :p
You weren't the only one.
PrettyinPink55 06-20-2006, 02:33 AM I didn't even realize that Maury and Connie had a show together.
The only way I heard about it was from Joel McHale of "The Soup"...he made fun of it on several occasions.
swedeace 06-20-2006, 09:26 AM Wow! That really seems like Connie Chung is doing a parody of herself.... Pretty freaky, actually.... At first I thought it really was a parody, but it's actually her own parody. Yikes. http://server5.dedicateduk.com/~ace/thb/smilies/17.gif
Central Perk 06-20-2006, 09:28 AM Jon Stewart made an interesting point, why is the pianist even there, lol?
Ags2000 06-20-2006, 01:47 PM Barbara Walters talked about it the other morning and was laughing saying that Connie really has a sense of humor and then showed a clip of that. She was laughing and said, "Connie, I love you, but next time take singing lessons."
D
MsOrange 06-20-2006, 03:35 PM I can't watch the video, it's blocked here @ work, is tehre a news article anywhere I can read about what happeend?
Brad Russ 06-20-2006, 03:53 PM After watching it again, I'm thinking she was probably just trying to embarrass the network for firing her. I'd sure be embarrassed if I had a tv station, and someone did that. I loved the piano with no sound, and the guy with the huge grin on his face who was pretending to play it. That was hilarious!!
staypuftman2004 06-20-2006, 04:04 PM
moeee 06-20-2006, 04:35 PM Just terrible Connie. :barf:
Stick to your day job.
SBTB Geek 06-21-2006, 11:32 PM Just terrible Connie. :barf:
Stick to your day job.
Didn't she perform a similar song for "The View" once?
I watched her on TV singing (if you can call it that) with a sort of morbid fascination. It was like a train wreck and you couldn't help but stare.
mystery_daisy 06-22-2006, 12:49 AM Gross. I couldn't even sit through it all.
But it's not any nuttier than any of her or Maury's other stuff. It's all nuts.
*Who is the father? bleh.
bad_boy 06-22-2006, 12:50 AM That was kinda...good.
