My parents bought a set of lamps from a sale that studios used to have after a show would end or set change. They bought the set of lamps from I Love Lucy that was in their bedroom. One lamp at each headboard (you know twin beds because they could not show people in bed together on TV back then :eek: ).

I did not believe it until I saw them on TV and said "Hey there are our lamps!" and Mom just shrugged and said "yes" It was pretty common in California then, might still be. But I thought it was really neat to have proof.

I need to find proof in the form of a picture or video that these lamps did indeed come from the set. I have found one lamp, in less than pristine shape and hope to find the other. I want to sell them as TV Memorabilia but would like to have something to back it up lol.

It still works and is at least 30years old, anyone remember when I Love Lucy went off of the air? Looks like 1957 was the last episode. So these are almost 50 years old.

If anyone has an image of these lamps on the headboards I would be forever gratefull :wave:

I watched a few episodes that I remember there are lamps involved. Sorry if I'm of no help.
