One day and counting until Season 5 comes out on DVD!!! I'm so excited. "Arthur Spooner" will probably be one of the first episodes that I watch.

"The King of Queens" (Sony, Season 5, three discs) The show marked its 100th episode this season. Doug and Carrie invite the new neighbors over for dinner, Arthur hitches free rides on the subway and Doug prays for the Jets to win while being forced to attend church.

Nah, I think that there will be more seasons released. I'm hoping that Season 6 is released this year as well, since it's one of my favorites. So far, on the Season 5 DVD, I've watched "Arthur, Spooner", "Window Pain" and "Flash Photography" all great episodes. Plus some of the scenes that they deleted in syndication are pretty funny as well.

All in all a great season and I'm glad that it was released on DVD.

For those of you that have watched "Attention Deficit" on the season 5 set.
Just before and during Doug's Super Bowl party, one of the cameras used seems to have a very strange tint to it. Did anybody else notice this?
Could it possibly be an imperfection in the DVD itself? Very strange.

Yes, that is the scene.
You're right JP, there is a noticable tint in those scenes. It does look strange.
Not sure it's the DVD, because it looks even worse in syndication, I think. It get's really dark!

Maybe somebody spilled scotch on the camera?

Thanks for the insights. I guess I have never noticed this in the syndication run, but I'll be on the lookout for it next time. The only other thing I can come up with is that that particular camera may have had some bad film in it. Or maybe the wrong KIND of film in it. Or someone spilled scotch on it.

Yes! It certainly could have been the film! What the hell else could've happened? It just looks so friggin' strange!

On the other hand, it seems like they always have alcohol on the set, especially scotch. Weithorn was drunk and spilled it? lol

I remember the first time I seen it in syndication, it looked so bad I honestly thought my TV was going out! ohno:

My only complaint about the Season 5 DVD, is that there isn't any extras. I bought the Seinfeld Season 6 DVD a few weeks ago, and it was loaded with deleted scenes, commentary, and other fun goodies. Why can't Sony throw us a bone?

I agree.
I bought the season 1 DVD of Boston Legal a couple weeks back, and even that had a couple of extras. ;)

What is Sony's problem? The cast said they've wasted so much film messing lines up, etc. Why can't they throw some bloopers on a frickin' disc?
Us fans are left with 1 or 2 bloopers off of the internet. C'mon Sony!! Extras for season 6!!
