I'm not sure I know what you are talking about here. ...And I'm not sure I want to.

I'm a master at this :mrt:

ok.

I like to start with freshly washed, air dried, hair.
tilt your head back and gather in a loose ponytail
coil your hair to your head and add pins/ scurnchie/ whatever.

while your hair is wet you can add some gel or whatever to make it curly or wavy. (if your hair is curly already then you can skip this)

Be sure to leave some peices of hair out in the front (you can curl them with a curling iron if you want)

It is a hairstyle for gals who have long hair.

it's not nice to call people names.

anyway, to make a messy bun, just make a perfect one then move you're head around like a headbanger rock star and you have a messy one. ;)

I've never been able to do it, either. I guess my hair's too thick so whenever I tried it never worked out. Pain in the ass hair.

The way I do it I can't explain it. I put an elastic on and then start to do a pony tail but don't follow through all the way and leave the loose strands of hairs sticking out.

Me either, when my hair was long enough. It would always fall out and I'd get pissed.
