View Full Version : Interesting Info about the spinoff "Checking In" during the summer of 1981 TVFactFan 06-17-2006, 11:17 AM When the Show made it's debut in April of 1981, it wa yanked after 4 weeks due to low ratings but was showed again in the summer of 1981 and was a Top 10 Show between July and October of 1981-lol So I'm just wondering why the show did so well in the summer and not during the month of April? True, everything in the summer is usually reruns, so people probably thought they'd try something new/different.
