Brieannas21 06-15-2006, 12:19 AM I've already preordered mine, so when I get it I'll let you all know 88survivor 07-28-2006, 09:04 AM Anybody have the 3rd Season yet? robby76 08-02-2006, 01:03 AM I got mine yesterday. Quick review... 1. Spud replaces poor ole Allen. Don't know if I like Spud yet! 2. Punky has a tooth missing... ha ha! Her acting is a little weird. I think cos I'm so used to her being a little cute girl and now she's an awkward teen. 3. No more Mike... not a big problem. I quite like the new teacher! 4. The Debarge episode wasn't at all what I expected! The songs they sang were horrible and James Debarge's solo was a sight in itself. Glad they were on though as I did like them back in the day. I've finished disc one completely inc the cartoons. The cartoons weren't too bad this time round. Also glad they added some season 3 pics on the dvd packaging. I've grown to like the bubblegum pink colour as they couple it with a nice grassy green. There's also an advert for the previous seasons on the packaging which makes it a little different from S1 and2. TennX 08-02-2006, 09:50 AM 4. The Debarge episode wasn't at all what I expected! The songs they sang were horrible and James Debarge's solo was a sight in itself. Glad they were on though as I did like them back in the day. Word! I kept thinking, "Janet must have a thing for metrosexuals". And that HAIR! Oh Lord. I couldn't decide whose was worse: -Marty's aquanet disaster -James' 2 ponytails with the braid on the side (WTF?) -or Chicos bleached out blonde coiff with the 2 rat tails. I certainly hope he shaved his head before he went to prison the following year (for drug trafficing no less. Didn't he see Punky's "Just Say No" episode?)! I liked Debarge back then too, but goodness, that group is nothing without El! :jerks head and shoulders: "....your a big boy noooooooowwwwwwww" robby76 08-02-2006, 11:13 AM :jerks head and shoulders: "....your a big boy noooooooowwwwwwww" Oh man  88survivor 08-03-2006, 08:37 AM I believe in 1986-1987, El went solo already. So I think that is the reason why in 1987, DeBarge wasn't all that was cracked to be. It was 1987 and Bon Jovi, Tiffany, and Debbie Gibson were the "in" thing. I am suprised the writers or producers didn't ask them to join. I remember Allen being replaced because of a divorce between his parents. I think he goes away with his mom and is never mentioned ever again. Spud took over, I believe. I remember the replacement for T.K Carter's character. Yes, he was dealt without much though. But the teacher was so cool. I liked him better than Carter's character. Anyday. When the show went to syndication and replaced Allen with the Spud character, I remember back when I was four, I never liked Spud. Don't know why. I just never did. He seemed like a poor replacement of Allen. I always wished I had a friend like Allen, but Spud...? I never enjoyed his presence much. Don't know why. 88survivor 08-04-2006, 08:51 AM And think the show slightly dates itself a bit. I mean, who in 1987 listen to Debarge then? You think upcoming and new artist would be the show's highlight, but Debarge in '87? El already left by then. caligirl 08-10-2006, 11:13 AM :jerks head and shoulders: "....your a big boy noooooooowwwwwwww"    Man, that was funnneeeey!
