It still amazes me that they stopped using a live audience all the way back in season FOUR and most people can't tell the difference. Personally, I liked the 'energy' of the crowd in the first three seasons and how they would sometimes take a second to 'get' a joke - delayed laughter, etc. That was lost once season four started, even though I still love the episodes overall...
