There he is, making his pictorial debut! He's about six weeks old right now, and I got him over the weekend. He was a little squealy at first, but he's already been adjusting really well. I hope it's not too long before he and my other cat become friends!

Oh, he's absolutely adorable. Have you thought of a name yet? You got him young at six weeks. I got mine from a breeder, and she wouldn't let him go until he was 10 weeks old.

Yes, his name is Spike! :rotflmao:

And yeah, I know he's a little young. We were in West Virginia visiting relatives, and my uncle had a cat that had a litter of kittens, and they were going to be getting rid of them next week anyway. I don't trust the people out there with their animals, so I wanted to take one with me. He's been doing really well, though, which is a good thing. ^_^

I hope Spike grows into his ears.

He will. My kitten looked like Dumbo until he was about four months old.

Hey, my kittens name is Sable. Maybe we can get them together as a tag team, and they can become intergender World Kitty Entertainment tag team Champions!! Sorry, just a little corny wrestling humor there. Anyway, he's adorable. I hope the two of you become best buds, and have many great years together!! :)

 Yeah, because of that, he was almost named Gizmo.

I decided not to, though, since when he gets older then his ears will look normal and then he won't seem like a Gizmo at all.

LMAO OMG! I never would've thought to name a cat Sable!! I wonder where you got that name from...?

If mine had been a female, maybe she could've been named Trish!!

Actually, though, I nearly named this cat Chris Farley, just because I thought it would be so unusual and hilarious.

I imagined calling the vet and when they ask what his name is, saying "Chris Farley", or getting cards every year in the mail saying "Chris Farley is due for his shots".

GO AHEAD!! The more kittens that get named Chris Farley, the better. :rotflmao:

Let's see if we can make this a common cat name in 10-15 years.

A friend of mine just got another cat and is trying to get the old and new cat to bond too. It's been interesting.
