Last month i started babysitting full time for a French couple, they have 2 daughters, 5 and 2 years old. I only babysat there for 3 days because the place was disgusting and smelled like *****. The girls' teeth were black and they always wore the same dirty clothes. One day, the youngest had dry yogurt stuck in her hair and she still had it 2 days later Stupid parents! I quit after 3 days, they said that I could come later that week to get my money. IT'S BEEN A MONTH!! Everytime I call, either they're not there or they say: "We're leaving...".

Earlier this week, I called and the dad told me to come around 7pm. I asked if I should call first to make sure they were there, he said no, that they were gonna be there. I get there around 7pm, NO ANSWER!

Now I'm having my dad involved, because I'm just not intimidating enough Yesterday, he called the bastard, talked to him a bit, politely. My dad asked if we could come by to get my money ($60) but the dad said that he had alot of things to do (right!). So my dad suggested he puts the money in his locked mailbox, my dad is a postman and has the key to open it. So the bastard says sure, and we tell him we'll come around 1:30pm. We get there, no money in the mailbox (smoke starts coming out of my ears). We knock on the door, who answers? The new babysitter! The bastard is asleep because he works at night (wow he sure had a lot of things to do today!) My dad gets mad, tells her to wake him up or he's going to wake him up himself. The girl leaves, comes back saying she can't wake him up... There was a police officer down the road so we walked to him and told him, but there was nothing he could do because it's not an actual employer with an employee. So he suggested we sue them...

Anyways, we put a letter in his mailbox, saying if they don't pay me in the 10 coming days, we'll take action. We go back there around 4pm to see if the bastard's awake, but nope. We talked a bit with the babysitter, she said they don't even pay her either!!! And she stays there? She says she needs the money... WHAT MONEY? She said they said they don't have the money... Oh really? STOP HIRING BABYSITTERS YOU WON'T PAY F***ER!

She told us to leave our name and phone number and she would tell them to call us back. Did we get a phone call? Nope... Man, when my dad gets to talk to them, it's not gonna be pretty!

You have no idea how pissed I am! Imagine, it's just $60, but it's still MY money! That girl has been babysitting there for a month! What an idiot!!!

That's a tough situation. I would hate being shorted 60 dollars. I don't think I would really have the guts to do anything about it. Good luck getting paid, even though it doesn't seem to likely. :(

What kind of people hire babysitters if they can't afford to pay them?
Keep going after them until you get your money in full; your entitled to it.
As for those poor kids living in that kind of dump and everything; I feel sorry
for them that they have parents like that and they are treated like that too.

If I were you, I would be more worried about the childrens' welfare than getting paid. Those poor innocent girls sound like they're being neglected and forced to live in squalor. Why hasn't someone called the police or local child welfare on these miserable excuses for parents yet? I would have been on the phone with them after the first day and wouldn't stop calling them until they did something to help those children.

That's really crappy. They don't pay the babysitter either? It's amazing she even stays there and babysits those kids. I would sue if I were you. It's your money after all and you worked for it. Hope it works out for you for the best. I would be pissed too if I worked for nothing. Good luck with getting your pay.

Is this for real or just somebody trying to write up a creative little story? The only reason I say that is because it's weird that somebody actually registered here JUST to say this and hasn't posted before or since.

Exactly what I thought. I mean, how many people register on a new board just to complain to strangers?

Yeah, same here, except I couldn't figure out what they could possibly be trying to get us to do here.

But with that black teeth part, I guess I could've ended up having a link to Aquafresh at the end of it.

I thought it sounded pretty believable. I obviously don't know one way or the other...although why would someone register on a board just to make up a story?

The emotion in the post makes me think it's true, although no one can be certain. As for the member being here since 11th May...well, some people do wait a while before they post; I don't think I posted immediately upon registering.
