Who distributed Carsey Werner shows before they were able to distribute themselves? I believe it was 96 where they bought their shows to distribute.

Hard to say, but the most likely company would probably be 20th Television, as their parent company (20th Century Fox) currently co-distribute Carsey-Werner's DVDs in the US.
