Kitt 03-11-2002, 12:26 AM This is one of those times that it's glaringly apparent that most all of you all have different taste in music than I do. I don't claim favorites for hardly anything but this year the nearly impossible happened. I'm crazy about Alison Krauss and I like the movie "Oh Brother Where Art Thou." Alison was invoved with the soundtrack. It won the grammy for best soundtrack, an unusuall choice considering it's of the ol' timey style of music. I didn't think they would pick it even though it did deserve it. Mysty Eyes 03-11-2002, 12:32 AM Uh... well, I see few movies so my choices are limited. But... Saturday Night Fever Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid and (shame on you AKA), from The Beatles: A Hard Day's Night Help! I like the two Lexx soundtrack CDs also, one from the Showtime movies and one from the TV series. :happyface Blair-Lisa#1Fan 03-11-2002, 12:36 AM My favorite soundtrack is 10 THINGS I HATE ABOUT YOU and Charlie's Angels and Dick and Miss Congeniality and Shrek! Those ones are the best! Mossopp 03-11-2002, 02:15 PM The Lost Boys has an awesome soundtrack! jamier42 03-11-2002, 04:15 PM My favorite soundtracks are Titanic, American Beauty, Forrest Gump, Now and Then, You've Got Mail, My Best Friend's Wedding, Wild America. LaverneShirley 03-11-2002, 09:23 PM Now and Then, Dick, My Fair Lady, Singin' in the Rain, West Side Story, Tarzan, Peter Pan (Cathy Rigby version), and if they HAD a movie soundtrack, Guys and Dolls... but they don't have one. But I love all the songs in the movie. (Too bad they don't have a movie one, 'cause "A Woman in Love" isn't in the play, so it's not on my OBC recording) Pitooey 03-11-2002, 09:30 PM Originally posted by dawsongirl The soundtrack to the Monkees movie "Head." Well, for some reason, I never really count them as soundtracks in my subconscious, even though I know they technically are, but if we're going that route: A Hard Day's Night Help! Magical Mystery Tour Yellow Submarine (1999 Songtrack) Let It Be And a few others I've forgotten to mention: Clerks She's The One Vanilla Sky |
