I loved those things. :D I haven't been since July 2000 though. I read a true crime book back in 1999 and there was a chapter about a serial killer in the 1970's who went by the name "The Mikado". I better watch out for him. He might be in exile in Canada. PZelda 06-09-2006, 11:24 PM Holy crap, this smoothie is AMAAAAAAAAAZING. There's an arts and crafts fair that is held in the next town over every year, during the first weekend in July....I'm going to it after, I think, 5 years (The last time I went was in 2001, I think). Mr. Television 06-09-2006, 11:40 PM Who's Kelly and why is she leaving? Yea last night a big fight erupted in her thread. Brian Damage 06-09-2006, 11:41 PM Jo_Luvs_Ketchup. She is leaving because there have been some people who have been giving her a hard time. Who's giving her a hard time? Maybe I can help? PZelda 06-09-2006, 11:43 PM  I'm still not use to 2001 being 5 years ago. I agree, it blows my mind. It'll have been a half-decade this fall since I started my junior year in high school and since 9/11 occurred. I just remembered...Yesterday was 5 years ago one of my classmates was killed in a car accident. :( We had JUST finished our sophomore year in HS...I can't believe it's been 5 years now. 2001 really sucked, because I knew so many people that died that year. ohno: Sorry, I didn't mean to depress you. PZelda 06-09-2006, 11:46 PM I'm not used to 1991 being 15 years ago. Holy crap, now THAT is scary. ---------------- By the way... I know dlemond a little bit. He is a good guy from what I know. What happened? Southern Hellraiser 06-09-2006, 11:52 PM This August it will have been a quarter of a century since I began kindergarden.  It'll be 9 years for me. Mr. Television 06-09-2006, 11:53 PM Holy crap, now THAT is scary. ---------------- By the way... Their was another one too but I can't remember her name. She made the comment about her pills. I think that's what got her real mad. PZelda 06-09-2006, 11:59 PM The fact that 1981 was 25 years ago is even more scary. Yikes, yeah, that's scary too. My sister'll be 25 next summer. omg: Now I want to cry. Another 10 months, and my brother will be another year closer to 30. I had a hard time getting used to him being in his 20s. Now, 30's?! omg: Thank god it's not for another few years, but still. I remember this girl was running through the hallways telling everyone to turn on their t.v. so they can watch the news about 911. Sorry to hear about your friend. :( I had fun in 2001 though. Alot of interesting things happened during that spring. :happyface 9/11/01 is a day I don't really want to remember, but I remember it SOOOOOOO vividly. I even remember what clothes I was wearing that day (gray shirt w/ a bald eagle in front of a USA flag and jeans). It was also Homecoming week @ my HS, if I recall. The spring of 2001 was just as crazy for me...a cousin of mine was diagnosed w/ cancer but fortunately, the docs caught it early so my cousin has been cancer-free for 5 1/2 years now. :) 2001 was okay. I liked 2002, 2003 and 2004 better though. As far as 2005 is concerned...well, the past is the past. I loved 2002...I went to DC that spring and started my senior year that fall. 2003 was a pretty sucky year for me...Eh. 2004 was a lot of fun, but the end of that year sucked also. I really liked 2005 too and I've loved this year so far. I know dlemond a little bit. He is a good guy from what I know. What happened? I don't know...I think he was just in a really bad mood last night and wanted to lash out at somebody, and Kelly happened to be that victim. :( Brian Damage 06-09-2006, 11:59 PM Hey Sonny, do you still talk to Otter and his girlfriend, I forget her name? PZelda 06-10-2006, 12:01 AM  It'll be 9 years for me. 15 years for me. It should have been 16 but I got held back for a year before I went to kindergarten. I got 'em in the end, though...the next year I skipped a grade  Next year will be 20 years since I started school. Mr. Television 06-10-2006, 12:01 AM Hey Sonny, do you still talk to Otter and his girlfriend, I forget her name? I haven't talked to them in a few months. Brian Damage 06-10-2006, 12:04 AM I haven't talked to them in a few months. The reason why I am asking is because I've seen Otter around, but haven't seen her around. I'm sorry I forgot her name. I was just curious if she left. Mr. Television 06-10-2006, 12:05 AM Yikes, yeah, that's scary too. My sister'll be 25 next summer. omg: Now I want to cry. Another 10 months, and my brother will be another year closer to 30. I don't know...I think he was just in a really bad mood last night and wanted to lash out at somebody, and Kelly happened to be that victim. :( Yea he mentioned he was in a bad mood on the sports board. I don't think he'd bother Kelly. Mr. Television 06-10-2006, 12:07 AM The reason why I am asking is because I've seen Otter around, but haven't seen her around. I'm sorry I forgot her name. I was just curious if she left. Her name's Kate ( Susan Norton). I really don't know. I know she was cutting down on her time on SO. I don't know if she left entirely or not. PZelda 06-10-2006, 12:09 AM The reason why I am asking is because I've seen Otter around, but haven't seen her around. I'm sorry I forgot her name. I was just curious if she left. JP (Otter) still pops in from time to time, and I believe the other person you speak of is Kate, wait...I'm having a brain fart on her screen name...Ummm... Oh yes! Susan Norton. I couldn't remember, either. She's been pretty busy too. Southern Hellraiser 06-10-2006, 12:13 AM I'm out. TTYL. Brian Damage 06-10-2006, 12:13 AM Her name's Kate ( Susan Norton). I really don't know. I know she was cutting down on her time on SO. I don't know if she left entirely or not. Thanks You know sometimes you go through old threads and see people that no longer come around. Brian Damage 06-10-2006, 12:14 AM If you are talking about Kate, she left SO. Why? Did she get bored with this place? PZelda 06-10-2006, 12:15 AM G'nite, Jeremy. :bye: Thanks You know sometimes you go through old threads and see people that no longer come around. Oh yes, esp. when I look at posts from 2003. It actually makes me a little sad. :( Mr. Television 06-10-2006, 12:15 AM I'm out. TTYL. Night Jeremy :bye: Mr. Television 06-10-2006, 12:16 AM Thanks You know sometimes you go through old threads and see people that no longer come around. Yea I do that too sometimes. Then I see their post and I say I remember them. Brian Damage 06-10-2006, 12:16 AM G'nite, Jeremy. :bye: Oh yes, esp. when I look at posts from 2003. It actually makes me a little sad. :( I had some good friends on the Cheers board, but they mostly all left because of politics. Brian Damage 06-10-2006, 12:18 AM Personally, I miss Brett Ferino. He had alot of intellectual posts like Who is your favorite character? and well...that's all I can think of right now. PZelda 06-10-2006, 12:19 AM I had some good friends on the Cheers board, but they mostly all left because of politics. Oooo yeah, I remember that. That was a pretty bad falling out. There are a lot of people that used to post at the Mama's Family board regularly back in 2003, that don't come around anymore. Sometimes I wish Kristina would come back, because her posts made me crack up. Brian Damage 06-10-2006, 12:20 AM I can't think of anyone I was close to who has left. Believe me, it sucks. One minute, we were all chatting in a random thread on the Cheers board, and the next, they left to start a new online chat group. Mr. Television 06-10-2006, 12:21 AM I had some good friends on the Cheers board, but they mostly all left because of politics. Yea I remember that. Now the Cheers board is pretty dead. :( I know I talked to a few people that aren't here anymore. Brian Damage 06-10-2006, 12:22 AM I'm still not really sure why he left or was banned or whatever. One day he was just suddenly gone. He was "suspended" and basically was told until you get your parents permission to come back, you will stay suspended. Brian Damage 06-10-2006, 12:23 AM Oooo yeah, I remember that. That was a pretty bad falling out. There are a lot of people that used to post at the Mama's Family board regularly back in 2003, that don't come around anymore. Sometimes I wish Kristina would come back, because her posts made me crack up. Yeah, it basically "killed" the Cheers board. It was about 5 people who left together. Mr. Television 06-10-2006, 12:24 AM Believe me, it sucks. One minute, we were all chatting in a random thread on the Cheers board, and the next, they left to start a new online chat group. I know. :(This thread used to be very active but a lot of people don't post in it much any more. The last thread just got completed and we started that one right before Christmas. Brian Damage 06-10-2006, 12:27 AM AKA was initially the reason why they left. All because of politics. PZelda 06-10-2006, 12:30 AM I considered leaving on a couple of occasions back in 2004, but then I told myself I -should- stay and that if I left, then the other person would get what they wanted, and I wasn't about to let that happen. Mr. Television 06-10-2006, 12:32 AM AKA was initially the reason why they left. All because of politics. Yea. I liked Brad but he would bring politics over here and I just don't like to talk politics much. It just causes fights. PZelda 06-10-2006, 12:33 AM Hey Brian, I've been meaning to ask you, hope you don't mind my asking...Can I ask you which part of NYC you live in? If you don't want to say, that's okay. Mr. Television 06-10-2006, 12:33 AM I considered leaving on a couple of occasions back in 2004, but then I told myself I -should- stay and that if I left, then the other person would get what they wanted, and I wasn't about to let that happen. Yea their were a few times I came close to leaving. I don't know as much as I want to sometimes SO keeps pulling me back. Brian Damage 06-10-2006, 12:34 AM I think politics broke up alot of friendships. The MF NBC episodes (seasons 1 and 2) have a lot of similarities to the sketch version. The sketches were a major hit on TCBS in the 1970s, but it didn't fare too well in the early/mid-1980s, so it was cancelled in 1984 and came back in syndication in 1986...A lot different from the NBC episodes. I wonder when the other three seasons are going to be released. Brian Damage 06-14-2006, 07:18 PM  I agree. I hate that damn MySpace. Theda Bara 06-14-2006, 08:06 PM I've been finding myself being addicted to myspace lately too. I sometimes spend hours on there looking through people's profile and all that stuff.
