So what do you have to trade?

Always a good idea to give a quick list or a link to your list of what you have available to trade (and if you have nothing available to trade, any special channels you might get so you can offer to record in exchange for stuff). Sometimes it's surprising folks consider they have nothing to trade, when in fact they may have access to a show someone else is desperately looking for.

Remember that this is a trading board, no selling, no offers to buy.

I do not like to watch bad quality shows, i do not record in crap quality so i only want good quality when I am trading. I got a complete set (which did not have all the episodes) that had like 10-11 episodes that looked like crap!!!!

so i am only asking for people that have the shows i want that are in great quality LIKE I WOULD RECORD. My dvd recorder died so I lost those shows that i was recording, but i still need them soon for a few birthdays.

I really dont understand why people would record shows in crap quality? just to shove 10-11 episodes on a disc? they look horrible!! I see people that ask for only good quality shows all the time. if you don't have any shows i want then you don't have to post, there really was no reason for you to even comment.

Let's see, uncut, pristine condition, only the best, & only complete sets. I was going to tell you the only place to get shows like that is to buy the retail sets, but even they aren't usually complete sets. Good luck.

any Homemade set is NOT gonna be perfect
sometimes even the best recordings aint perfect
b/c some stations have weaker signals are not in HD
or sometimes have prints that are inferior

sometimes the best set out there, aint perfect

HOWEVER as for big brother
the only place i have seen is a lady on ioffer who sells reality shows
she has all the big brothers
but most traders dont collect stuff like that

this is a thread from a few weeks ago, where u went on and on about ONLY wanting PRISTINE sets, near perfect picture, no commercials 2 hours per disc, etc etc etc etc

and it went back and forth and u stated u had Nothing to trade and ONLY wanted excellent sets done Exactly the way u like it

WELLLLLL that aint how trading works sir, and yes i do have the complete series, BUT no its not perfect, so i do not think u would want it

Gomer Pyle Season 1 on DVD will be out 12-12 IIRC.You can pre order it from Amazon.

I guess I should clear up what I mean by "great/perfect quality" since alot of people are having a problem with me saying that.

I had a bad trade with someone that said "complete series" and "great quality" and then after I got them it had atleast 8 episodes missing and alot of other problems, but the trader kept acting like I was making it up. so i ended up just giving up and now have a bad set of my favorite show.

I wanted to be clear on what I am looking for so that may not happen again.

Yes I want great quality stuff, none of this cramming episodes on a disc just to save a few discs, I record in great quality and all my stuff looks just like it aired on tv, so i would like the stuff i get to be in that kind of quality too.

BUT if there is a show that I am really wanting and the trader IS HONEST with me about what may not be "perfect" about it (like 1 episode little snowy due to storm, ect) then I will make a decision that more than likely would be a yes, I just want the truth. You all say "you will never find perfect" I KNOW I WILL NEVER FIND PERFECT EXCEPT WHAT I RECORD but I can atleast try to get good quality shows from honest people.

so everyone can drop the fact that i "only want great/perfect" quality stuff and just know I want to deal with honest people and get the best quality shows I can find, but that I can make exceptions if the trader just tells me the truth.

I hope to do alot of trading with alot of you all and I will always be easy to deal with, all i ask is communication during the trade (like the discs will be in the mail monday, there is a delay and it will be 1 week, ect) I always like to know when to expect the discs, so I don't feel like I am forgotten about.

:) so now that this is all cleared up everyone have a great night and i look forward to trading with good honest traders!

I added One tree hill to my list in case someone has it. I would like all seasons.

I am getting "hopefully" a "great" set of Gomer Pyle in the next week or so, if anyone would be interested.

I would like Andy Griffith soon, if anyone has it.

my guess is its same set that we all have, but maybe.....

andy has been released retail, u might be able to find a rip out there or shoot me an email as i know some who trade that stuff off the site
