Ok, i just checked out the TVLand website. It's apparently too late to see what choices were available to vote on regarding the spin-offs. I checked the up-coming polls and each one has a list of 15 to choose from. So the spin-off list consisted of 15 shows to choose from. I wonder what the other 5 choices were?

I honestly think if it was on the list it would have been on the top ten over MORK AND MINDY

I taped it last night, so I'll watch it today. I would have chosen GT over Lou Grant any day, never got into that show. Good thing I learned GT wasn't on the list now, that way I won't be disappointed.

On the show, they said Good Times was an honorable mention or something like that. They did mention it.

Besides, the Facts of Life didn't make the list at all, not even a mention. Does that mean it wasn't a spinoff of Diff'rent Strokes? Adrienne Barbeau, who was a cast member of Maude, did say Good Times was a spinoff, and she was on the show, so I'll take her word for it.

It was voted on and did get an honorable mention. There are a few spinoffs I would have put on that list ahead of shows like Knots Landing, Lou Grant and Mama's Family.

I think if we really want to have control the tv land polls when they come up we should vote.

Because many of the polls that they have been having, are not what many of us on this board would have chosen.

But GT getting an honorable mention in the show doesn't really say yes or no for being a spin off, atleast not for me, it still leaves a question mark Next to GT if it is or not.
