That's right! She played Kate Keller, the mother of Helen (Patty Duke). What a wonderful performance - the complete opposite of Kraus. :lol: No German accent here, but she holds her own opposite Patty Duke and Anne Bancroft.

Inga Swenson is a marvel - her part as Kate Keller is as far a cry from Gretchen Kraus as you can get!! Let us know when you see the film - I have a feeling you'll love it!! :D

She is so beautiful in this movie. She is so young and elegant, such a beauty to look at. We watched this movie in grade school. I know many kids who watched this movie in school.

Believe it or not I'm not a huge movie buff---unless it's comedies. The more dramatic stuff I don't tend to watch as much. You'll probably also be surprised to know that I never sat down to watch the Lizzie Borden movie (with Elizabeth Montgomery, of course) yet either. :eek: :)

The Lizzie Borden movie is truly creepy...I know one man who saw it as a kid and it scared him to death. Now, even though he's over 40 - he still refuses to watch it!! :lol:
