I wish I knew. This is the third chat I've participated in and my "YO"s have never been recognized, so I don't know if I'm doing it right.

But it's only at a certain few seconds during the chat that you can YO.

I'm just happy to know they won't draw it out for ever... The way it was going before I would have gotten season 8 in 2009 but I should get it next year if the every 4-6 months schedule continues

According to them, GET SMART is an HBO product. I think GET SMART just may be the most confusing DVD rights ever licensed to a release! From PHE to Warner to HBO to Time-Life, back to HBO.

I think we should give Image a chance next, then AB, then Universal, then S'More, lol.

HBO/Warner are sister companies. HBO licensed Get Smart from PHE. WHV will have nothing to do with Get Smart. Looks like HBO didn't want to do it themselves, so Time-Life will do it, for now at least (similar to what Sony did with What's Happening S1).

Thanks Pavan. This DVD release is probably my most wanted as of now, but wow, I am not going the T/L route for a DVD release. I hope HBO reconsiders.

Reading over the transcript, it doesnt really seem so negative concerning WBK or Knots Landing. Since they said the were looking at a potential release of WBK with nothing specific, I guess I can accept that for now. If they continue with that lame updated WBK movie, I'm sure they'll release a season set of the show.

And they said they weren't ruling out Knots Landing S2, so it's still possible, not an outright no.

They also said no news on Perfect Strangers, but that could still happen too. Keep pushing, Pav

Regarding the Warner Bros TV-DVD Chat I was neither happy or unhappy. In fact, I was left more confused. The only big annoucements were the Popeye cartoons and Mama's family.. The rest of the answers were maybe, cannot say, or do not know. Regarding Knots Landing I believe season 2 will come because they did not reject it out of hand like Everwood. I honestly feel bad for those people who want Everwood. There must be a better way for studios to produce Shows on dvd even if means selling DVD shows on a more limited market for those willing to pay top dollar for such shows as china beach where the music makes it expensive.

As I have said Not happy or happy with the chat but given Warner's Marketing department unwillingness to discuss in detail their plans why even have a chat. I do not see Universal, Paramount, FOx having such chats. Although I mad at Sony for throwing Designing women, One Day at time and Maude in my face without even producing one dvd. Shame on SOny's Marketing department. IN any case, THere must be a better way!!!
