View Full Version : Seems like the Apprentice has run it's course-lol Doesn;t seem to be a lot of hype
TVFactFan 06-05-2006, 02:21 PM about the Finale tonight. I forgot that it was on I guess because there hasn;t really been any NBC promos hyping up the finale. It appears that I'm the only member on this board who watches the show because I never seen anyone start a thread about the apprentice. It's just always threads about american idol. Oh well, I will just enjoy the show while it last because i don;t see another season after the 2006-07 season
HuntingtonM15 06-05-2006, 02:25 PM I haven't missed an episode this season, but the quality definitely seemed to decline. Everyone on it this year just seems to be so incredibly weak. I never thought Lee and Sean would be the final two. I was rooting for Lee, but after the team he chose, now I'm not so sure.

You think moving to LA will make a difference? i don;t understand that move at all

I personally don't think that alone will be a ratings booster. Hopefully they will actually have some strong players next season, though, or the show could be gone.
PrettyinPink55 06-05-2006, 03:18 PM You're right...when it first came out, you heard so much about it!! But now you barely even hear anything about The Apprentice! Either interest or quality or both are dwindling.
-*Forever*- 06-05-2006, 04:10 PM I think everyone got mad at Donald for cancelling Martha's show cos it was so much better.
At least, that's my case.
EmoJoe 06-05-2006, 04:24 PM i stopped watching cause this season sucked and i always forgot about it :grr: i watched like 2 episodes total of this season.

How was her show better than his when it was just like the Apprentice?????
Kazza 06-05-2006, 07:59 PM I just noticed that the show has suffered another switch at the time slot. This constant changes have made the ratings suffer IMO. Tonight's finale will start at 9:30. I will be getting ready for bed by then.
80sTrivia 06-05-2006, 07:59 PM I stopped watching after Season Two: How many Number Two's does The Donald need?
TVFactFan 06-05-2006, 08:04 PM The one thing I don't like is TRUMP"S daughter be the subsitute for Carol. Who the hell wants to see her?

I completely agree. At first I wasn't sure what I thought of her, but now I can't stand when Ivanka replaces Carolyn. I hope it doesn't happen again with next season. The girl has no personality, which makes her incredibly boring to watch.

I actually did like Martha's, but I thought it was nowhere near the quality Donald's. And towards the end it got awful. The finale was so pointless. And I also HATED her daughter. She was sickening, and dragged the show down so much.
vashti1999 06-05-2006, 09:43 PM I didn't know tonight was the finale until I saw something in the paper today. I stopped watching around the middle of the season. I wouldn't say I lost interest, but I just stopped watching and never got back into it. It's more a case that I missed an episode and I didn't want to try to get back into it after I missed some of the action. If they had a marathon on CNBC or something, I'd watch.
I have a feeling I won't be into it when they move to Cali next season, though.

I'm not all that crazy about the Apprentice coming on Sundday NIght Next Season
HuntingtonM15 06-06-2006, 01:02 PM Did anyone notice last night on the finale when they were all walking out and holding the door for each other, how Tammy totally let the door hit Allie? That was awesome! Sean is lucky to be dating her!

I have to check that since I recorded it. Sean and Tammy are already dating? Then again the way he picked her up after he won I guess so-lol
¤I Love Clay Aiken¤ 06-08-2006, 07:10 PM I missed the finale since I was at work, but I caught the 'results' lastnight on Leno. Figures, I was rooting for Lee :cuss:
Brent88 06-11-2006, 01:01 PM Most boring season ever. Blah.
I seriously doubt I will watch on Sunday Nights in January. It's up against DH which doesn't help(and I certainly won't watch it over that). Maybe I'll catch the repeats on CNBC.
The Monday move killed it for me.
