Now I know why the fans were very angry that enterprise was canceled, I just started watching the show thanks to reruns and wow I am so impressed, being a fan of the star trek franchise since the early 70s I have to admit enterprise is top notch. and that vulcan woman Tpal, wow I think im in love.

A lot of people knock STAR TREK ENTERPRISE, but I thought it was a pretty
good series, too. I liked it better than DEEP SPACE NINE (which, for some
reason, seems to be a fan favorite). In order of preference, I would list them:
1. STAR TREK (the original series)
2. STAR TREK THE NEXT GENERATION
3. STAR TREK VOYAGER
4. STAR TREK ENTERPRISE
5. STAR TREK DEEP SPACE NINE

While we're on the subject, my favorite character from each series:
1. Dr. Leonard "Bones" McCoy
2. Counselor Deanna Troi
3. First Officer Chakotay
4. Charles "Trip" Tucker III
5. Quark

You Can kinda tell Eneterprise was out of Ideas. They even say those exact words on the Borg Collective DVD. I liked the first 2 seasons. I lost interest though. I watched the Finale, which I think was good, but it should have been the episode before the Finale. Riker and Troi shouldn't have been in the Series Finale. It should have been about the Enterprise Cast only. The actress who plyed T'Pol said it herself, from the finale, she can see why they canceled it. She found they weren't respecting Eneterprise, by bringing in other Trek fan favorites. I have to agree with her.

Enterprise airs on locals on weekends. Does anyone know if it will be syndicated on a cable Network anytime soon? I'd watch it, because I won't buy any of the Enterprise seasons on DVD.

I like star trek TOS the best and for the very reason that city on the edge of forever is still my favorite star trek episode of all time, but even though kirk I think is star treks best captain for the series, I would like to have seen how captain christopher pike worked out, but jeff hunter didnt live to do it. and can you imagine Jack Lord as captain james t kirk? I believe they asked jack to play the part first and he flat out turned it down, I bet when the franchise went motion picture that jack regreted his decision.

Actually, Jeffrey Hunter passed away in 1969 (about three years after STAR
TREK debuted in 1966). So his death was not a factor.

I was disappointed that Enterprise was cancelled, but not surprized. The cast was pretty good, but things just didn't click. I'll give them credit for some interesting episodes, like the one that explained the origin of the "smooth headed" Klingons and the multi episode arch with Brent Spiner as the evil Dr. Soong, but overall, the show didn't measure up to the others in the Star Trek series.

Oh. and Deep Space Nine does inded rock.
