Got this in my GI newsletter from gilligansisle.com Since I am Mr Howell there I thought I would pass this on to all of you if you don't get the newsletter.

OK, what are you doing Thursday night? Nothing? Good. Come to Los Angeles and meet Tina Louise's daughter Caprice! This should be interesting to say the least! Does she look like Ginger? Act like Ginger? Maybe sing like Ginger? Maybe she'll dress like Ginger...... and then you know what? She'll BE Ginger. (now if only Mary Ann were there too) Hmmmmmm..... You may never have the chance to meet Ginger but her daughter is the next best thing! This fireball is full of life! I wonder what she'll do for us? I don't know about you guys but I'll be bringing my karaoke machine fully loaded with Ginger Grant songs begging her to sing "I Wanna Be Loved By You." I don't know what would be better. This night? Or running into Marcia Brady at a High School Cheer leading contest!
As I said, Caprice Crane is the daughter of Tina Louise (Ginger). She just wrote her first book called "Stupid & Contagious" and she will be in Los Angeles on June 8th for a book signing then doing one in New York on July 6th.
Caprice was born in Hollywood CA. As she grew up she attended New York University and later got a job at MTV. Today she writes for television and enjoys creating her own novels. Caprice is also writing screenplays for Paramount. (Man what a busy girl!) She'll be doing book signings at Barnes and Noble. The New York and Los Angeles signings are at these locations:

Why: Because this is your chance to stop by, let me scribble in your copy
of the book, and ponder the deeper themes of the book including: when it’s acceptable for a waitress to dump blue cheese dressing in a customers hair, how to avoid awkwardness when you’re backsliding with your ex-girlfriend/boyfriend (lock the door), and what a guy really means when he offers to help a pretty girl with her groceries.
Please come and bring some friends! There’s nothing sadder than a lonely author, clutching a sharpie, sitting behind a table piled high with crisp, fresh copies of her new novel, asking the store manager, "Did they print the right date on the poster?"
And if you’re not in the Los Angeles area – stay tuned for an email soon about the New York book signing July 6th!
