TVFactFan 06-02-2006, 10:32 PM before next friday-lol Well the Heat are up 89-71 with 3:42 left and Goofy ass Flip Saunders calls a TIMEOUT?????-lol Well Wade with the Flu and all still showed his ass and will be playing Dallas in the Finals next week.
BTW: Ben Wallace is nothing but a 2006 Darryl Dawkins
Rachel3118 06-02-2006, 10:34 PM I can't believe it. Even when they were down 3 to 1 I didn't picture them losing.

The Pistons just don't have a BENCH and Monkey Face Ben Wallace is paid too much money
Dutabi84 06-02-2006, 10:59 PM Excellent. But there's no way Flip should (and he won't) be fired.
Stormtracker TF 06-02-2006, 11:11 PM Ben Wallace is the heart and soul of this team. If he retired a Piston I would be perfectly pleased at that. He had a slightly sub-par season, and a horrendous series verses Miami but hell...The entire team played like absolute crap after about game 2 against Cleveland. Rasheed Wallace was even more useless during the entire Miami series than Ben was. The only person who really showed up was Tayshaun Prince, who played some beautiful basketball during the series. He was the only reason we werent defeated in 5 games.
I think there is a slight chance that if Flip Saunders isn't fired, Ben Wallace wont return. I personally think Flip should be fired regardless, and I'm not just saying that because we didn't make the finals. I've been saying that ever since after about the 15th game of the season, despite the fact we got 64 wins. The fact is, the Pistons' demise was ultimately the starting unit's egos, they just think they can show up and win in the 4th Quarter. And that worked in the regular season, but it's different in the Playoffs. You have to play all four quarters. The Pistons need a coach who can lead and keep them under control. Flip Saunders is far too soft for even the players outside of Chauncey to take seriously. And Flip doesnt even care.

passionsfan79 06-02-2006, 11:28 PM Exactly Minnesota made a huge mistake of fireing Flip saunders I really enjoyed him as a coach.

Dallas hasn't won anything yet.

Ben takes up SPACE on the floorsince he cant shoot foul shots and has no offensive moves

Ben Wallace isn't here for offense.
TVFactFan 06-03-2006, 12:16 AM Ben Wallace isn't here for offense.
But he couldn't stop shaq one on one which made his presence on the floor pointless in the Heat/pistons series since he couldn't contribute offensively
