Maybe if I had seen more of Sweet daddy, i guess since Judy's once appearance was so powerful, she gets the vote

If you are talking about one appearance or powerful appearances, then I vote for Debbie Allen.

I was going to say Debbie Allen also. Her performance was great!

But for funny appearances, I loved the social worker!

He was that kid that cousin Cletus sent to the door before he came in.
He was also Lamonts girlfriends' son on Sanford and Son.

Sweet Daddy Williams was the best!

Teddy Wilson ("Sweet Daddy Williams") was THE foremost favorite in MY book, too! Great choice, Brian D! ;)
Hands down... ;)

And Debbie Allen's appearance comes in at a very close second. She did so well in portraying a young heroin addict.

Since a lot of people picked Sweet Daddy, (and I would pick him, too) I will go with the Lou Gosset character when he played Uncle Wilbur. His character was so likable and he blended in with the rest of the cast. You could tell everyone liked having him around. I wish they would have brought his character back. You can't replace James, but he would have been the closest thing....as he showed in this episode.

Thelma: "I'm calling the police"

Sweet Daddy:"Well you better call my apartment because that's where they are playing cards at"

That particular scene of GT was TOO funny! LOL, LMAO :p
And I believed Sweet Daddy too, when he made that statement...
With his "hood riches", he could practically buy off anybody.

I have to go with Debbie Allen. But I also liked the cousin who drank a lot. I think her name was Beverly Banfield. She played in Five On The Black Hand Side.

Thelma: 90% of teenagers use alcohol......some right here in this neighborhood.

Cousin: I don't live in this neighborhood :D :D

I know that's not the best movie in the world, But I LOVE that movie, that's one of my all time favorites. :D

Also the Diana's dad on GT was in that movie as the fathers friend.

The woman who was obviously a prostitute in the episode called, "The Protest". She was arrested and put into jail with Willona and Flo. I loved that woman. She was so chatty and friendly to the girls in the jail cell. She was even nice to the warden. there was something charming and funny about that woman. She seemed really sweet.:)

My favorite recurring character hands down is Sweet Dap Willie as Lenny. You were always guaranteed laughs whenever Lenny was around.

My favorite one-shot character was Julius Harris as Ben Foster.

She reminds me of Flavor of Love girl Schattar a.k.a. "Hottie". I have got to post a pic and compare the two.

Another favorite of mine was Brian Morrison a.k.a. "Phillip" from "Maude". It was the episode when he was helping 10 year old Michael do a protest in front of Marshall Field's department store against the school for the bussing program. Maude stood outside and helped them protest. Of couse it was Michael that said "black ain't beautiful on a yellow bus." He felt it would have more impact if he said it instead of Maude and Phillip.
