Dont know if anyone will care about this or not but here it goes. Remember the Larry Dickens case? The 26 year old man shot to death in 1978 while trying to detain a pervert until the police got there? The man was arrested but was released on bond a short time later. Well big surprise the man skipped town and disapperared. This man wasnt seen again for about 6 years until 1984 when he turned up in a woman's bathroom. Well the man's name was Edward Harold Bell. Bell I believe was arrested in 1993 in Panama where he apperantly was a successful gold prospector and property owner. Bell got off easy and was sentenced to 70 years but will be paroled much earlier than that based on sentencing guidelines from 1978. Bell is still alive and is currently 66 years old and is serving his time at the Estelle Correctional Facility in Huntsville, Texas. Bell will first become eligible for parole on January 13, 2013 and is due to be released on November 26th, 2023 if he isnt paroled by then. Bell will be 83 in 2023.

There were also these two young guys who were around 19 or 20 years old when in early 1988 they committed 4 murders for no reason 3 in Texas and one in Arkansas. William Glen Henry who was 18 at the time and Davy Lynn Crockett who was 19 at the time woke up on March 7th, 1988 and decided to committ some murders seemingly because they were bored. I believe they murdered a young woman who was in her early twenties. They left her baby unharmed but stole her car and later ditched it in a creek. They then went to a farmhouse and murdered a man who was in his early to mid 60's and also murdered the man's elderly father who was in his mid to late 80's and stole their truck. Eventually they also drove this truck into the water and ditched it and came to another house this one just across the border in southwest Arkansas. They were able to lure a young man who was in his late twenties or early 30's and they shot him and stole his car. I dont think they were arrested right away but were eventually arrested and charged with the three murders in Texas. On April 12th, 1990 William Glen Henry was sentenced to life. Henry is currently 36 years old and is currently serving his time at the Beto Correctional Facility in Tennessee Colony, Texas. Henry first became eligible for parole on February 1st, 2005 and it was denied.

Davey Lynn Crockett was also charged with the three murders that occurred in Texas. Crockett was sentenced on June 15th, 1990 to life in prison. Crockett is currently 37 years old and was also sentenced to life in prison and is currently serving his time at the Alfred Hughes Correctional Facility in Gatesville, Texas. Crockett first became eligible for parole on February 18th, 2005 and it was denied. It is also interesting to note Crockett was sentenced on April 28th, 1997 to an additional 10 years in prison top of his life sentence for an incident that occurred on February 14th, 1993. On that day Crockett apperantly was found to be in possession of a deadly weapon that had been smuggled into him in prison.

Remember the tragic Joe and Mattie Harvey murder that took place in early 1991? Well the killers there are both in prison as well in Tennessee. Edward Arnell Wooten is currently 45 years old and is serving a life sentence at the Northeast Correctional Complex in Mountain City, Tennessee. Wooten will become first eligible for parole on January 4th, 2021 when he will be 60 years old.

Cheryl Lee Holland who was the Harvey's niece and was thought to be the "mastermind" behind the murder plot to collect 150,000 dollars the Harvey's had saved up in cash is also serving a life sentence. Holland is currently serving her time at the Tennessee Prison for Women in Nashville, TN. Holland turns 42 on June 14th. Holland will first become eligible for parole on July 29, 2022 when she will be 58 years old.

It's sickening that these people would even be considered for eligibility. Even though a few of them were denied parole, they shouldn't have been given the chance to go before the parole board. Period. They should rot in prison until their dying day.

Remember the Dede Rosenthal case? Well the man who murdered her who was a handy man in her apartment building. Charles Reddish is currently 45 years old and is currently serving his time at a prison in Camden County, New Jersey. Reddish was sentenced on several charges on March 19th, 1999 and was senteced to two life terms on one count of murder and one count of kidnapping. Several other charges were dropped but they were in connection with events that occurred on October 6th, 1995. Reddish faced a minimum of 55 years in prison before being eligible for parole. Reddish was originally arrested and sentenced not for Dede Rosenthal but for the October, 1995 murder of his girlfriend which he killed her by using a hatchet and the rape of her 14 year old daughter in his townhouse. Reddish was in custody for this murder when he confessed to detectives that he had murdered Dede Rosenthal 4 years earlier. Reddish supposedly hadnt planned on killing her but she walked in on him while he was burglarizing her apartment and he panicked and killed her to keep her from turning him in. On July 29th, 2005 Reddish pled guilty to the murder and was sentenced to 60 years in prison. Meaning as Crystal Dawn said on another thread that he will be eligible for parole in 85 years.

Thanks for all the info kadrmas! :)

I always felt so bad for Dede Rosenthal. Here she probably was sitting in her apartment thinking she was safe when someone with a key comes in and abducts and kills her. I guess we're never truly safe no matter where we are. :(

Well if you want a link on Reddish he goes into a little detail about the Rosenthal case. Reddish at first was offering to lead investigators to the body but suddenly has become uncooperative. Reddish is currently incarcierated at the New Jersey State Prison in Trenton, New Jersey. Reddish is in the same prison as 80 year old John List. List turns 81 later this year and of course is infamous for having murdered his three teenage children, his invalid wife, and his elderly mother in 1971. List then went on the run and was not captured until he was shown on AMW in 1989. 11 days later List was arrested in Virginia. Here is the link to Reddish.

Does anyone have an update on David Harry Fisher? He was 29 years old when he raped and murdered Laura Lee Burbank in 1970 in Tacoma, Washington. That would make him around 70 years of age today. He escaped from his US "jail" where inmates were allowed to roam free and lived on the run until 1989 when the Unsolved Mysteries broadcast led directly to his arrest. It was said that David was transferred to the USA in January of 1990 and held in a medium-security prison. Does anyone know where he is now?
