I wonder what ABC will do with the post-DWTS Wednesday slots until October 11. I also don't think premiering Lost and The Nine(especially the latter) so late is a good idea. That will help Kidnapped get an audience.

NBC is premiering all their shows a week early(the official first week of the season is the week of September 18-24).

Lost is debuting late to reduce reruns.

NBC is smart to premiere their shows early. Not that it'll help much, IMO.

And Survivor starting September 21st makes sense, it usually coincides with the ending of Big Brother around that time.

Thanks for posting this, Brent. Most of those date seem realistic enough, even if they aren't confirmed.

I don't think all of these are right at all. Dancing with the Stars Tuesday will premiere with a 2-hour opener, so the comedies will premiere a week later. They are just projecting, not actual facts here.

Well ... yeah, lol. Brent said that they were just projected dates. Some are probably right, some aren't, no biggie. Just gives us somewhat of a timeframe.

Yeah... Big Brother should have it's finale on the 19th(3rd Tuesday just like last year). This would also allow for a final Thursday show on the 14th(Survivor the past two years at least has started on the 15th-16th), and then the final show before the finale was on Friday instead.

Yeah, but they also have a show in December/January taking it's slot. I know they want to reduce repeats, but long hiatuses won't help the ratings. They'd be better served doing like FOX does with 24 and just running it break-free(including no repeats).

yea, those dates and times aren't official yet. I e-mailed CBS and asked if THE AMAZING RACE is really moving to Sundays at 8 (eastern time) and they said that's the plan for now, but their schedule isn't official yet.
