Small problem: Steph's about to give birth to her and J...er...Triple H's first kid. IIRC, she's 7-8 mos pregnant at the moment.

Shane could work, but personally, I'd only see it if, and ONLY, if he IMMEDIATELY turned on Vince. Otherwise, what's the difference? (And if Vince becomes perma-GM, then it's no win-no loss, so what's the point.

Dusty and JBL are, as such, the two top candidates left to which there's actually a point, and may I say I SINCERELY hope it's not Dusty. I'd be perfectly happy to never see that man on my TV again (though I'd admit I'd be happy if his son wound up GM [For those who don't know, his son is....Goldust).

JBL has terrific mic abilities, and he needs to stay out of the ring for awhile to rehab injuries - it just makes too much sense (Which is why they won't do it).

I'd love to see GM JBL, but I'm expecting Vince or *shudders* Dusty. There's also been some speculation it could be Coach. Eh, well, at least it wouldn't be Dusty.

(But if I could have ANYONE be GM, of the guys still on good terms with WWE, I'd like to see: Ted DiBiase. That man needs to be on WWE programming again and is heckuva entertaining - plus he's got the mouth to pull it off. (and you know, I just realized how much the JBL gimmick borrows from elements of DiBiase's)

Are they even going to have a new GM, though? That storyline seemed to have gotten dropped only a couple of weeks after Vince started to show up on TV again. I haven't heard it mentioned in a while...I think we're going to be seeing Vince there for a while.

Yes, it was announced that Raw will reveal its new GM tomorrow night.
