A young woman sitting at a bar meets this business man and he drugs her drink, takes her back to his apartment, then rapes her and she doesn't wake up until 2 days later and then goes to the police. I think he'd done this to other women too. I remember her saying she was going to school to become a dental assistant. Does this ring any bells?

Yes I remember that one. The rapist's name was Dr. Kenneth Frank. His mugshot is on this website which means he's still on the run.

As a wannabe prosecutor, I hope they catch this guy and throw the book at him. It sickens me when public officals (doctors, priests, policeman, etc.) use their public status to take advantage of people. (You know, the whole, "I'm a doctor, you can trust me" thing.) It sickens me.

Sorry for the tangent. I've just noticed recently that UM shows a lot of stories about doctors who take advantage of their patients.

A similar thing happened to a friend of mine. And guess who drugged her drink and raped her....the BARTENDER! Talk about using your status to take advantage of someone. These guys are the lowest of the low. Watch your drinks, ladies, and have a friend watching out for you at all times at bars...seriously.
