I went and rented it. I heard it is *G*. But there is alot of death. I am just not in the mood to be sad tonight.
Happy Happy!

I thought March was sad, but I think 10 and 11 year olds can handle it.

Still, I'd go with Dreamer. Dakota Fanning is remarkable, and the movie is very good.

Both good movies.

NOW you tell me! lol
Dreamer seemed sad also. I love Dakota. But I am burnt out of her. And this movie looked just like Stripes (the zebra one).

MOTP is sad, but I am amazed by all of it! I never knew the males do so MUCH! Dang, maybe I should marry a penguin...lol

The mother penguins do their part too. It's an amazing adventure for both. Dreamer has its sad moments, but all in all, it's a feel-good movie.

My 2nd grader was shown 'March' at school; she wasn't traumatized by it. :D

No, in my opinion it is well worth the 3.50. It is an amazing documentary showing the long long journey that hundreds/thousands of penguins go through every year just to get to their breeding grounds and back. The photography is spectacular. Sad? No not really. Of course some of them don't make it but that's a fact of nature. By 10 or 11 most kids can accept this. I highly recommend it!:D

It is supposed to be very good (I haven't seen it yet). In fact, one conservative Christian spokesperson actually said this movie best exemplified true Christian family values such as monagamy and fidelity, etc.

What, PENGUINS??
