I wouldn't describe either one as dorky, but I do remember the episode where Chachi is supposed to close down Arnold's and forgets to turn off the grill and the place burns down. I don't think Joanie would've been that absentminded.

(Depends how you define dorky; I realize it's not a synonym of absentmindedness), but I'm searching really hard to see who's dorkier and that's all I could come up with.

i voted for Chachi because he seemed dorkier for a much higher percentage of the time on the show; Joanie started out as a very cocky, self-sure kid, and was really only dorky in a few episodes, whereas Chach was pretty dorky in all but the first few episodes. By the last season he was almost too painful to watch, i was ascairt that Eugene was gonna kick his ass for being too dorky :(

I always thought that Postie was a little more dorky than Chachi or Joanie were. I like Potsie but he was more of a dork than Joanie and Chachi were.
