Which TV mom you like of these 70s family drama??? Olivia Walton (The Waltons) or Caroline Ingalls (Little House on the Prairie)???

i liked little house better as a show but olivia seemed so much stronger than caroline . i mean caroline whined and cried at the drop of a hat so i will say olivia

Caroline Ingals for me, she was sweet. I could never get into the Waltons too boring.

My vote goes to Olivia Walton on The Waltons. I never did get into Little House on the Prairie since The Waltons was an era I understand better (the time of Depression and World War II vs. the time of stagecoach wagons and no cars).

I would say Caroline Ingalls. I have not really seen much of The Waltons and I like Little House on the Prairie better.

Olivia on the Waltons was a strong character, I liked her the best.

I don't think there was a TV mom as cool and sweet as Caroline Ingalls, as played by the wonderful Karen Grassle. I never saw much of The Waltons, but was impressed by Patricia Neal's turn as Olivia Walton in the pilot Christmas movie, The Homecoming. WOW!!
