So, Taylor Hicks is the new American Idol! What is everyone's opinion on this? Personally...as if you can't tell by my signature...lol I am VERY excited! :D

I already heard Taylors single on Sirius radio and they were playing it in Best Buy today.

His single is good but it doesn't sound like him. It definantly makes him sound like Nick Lachey (who co-wrote it). I mean, Taylor has a soul/blues feel, not pop. IDK, I really like the lyrics but I think they should have let him sing it the way he wanted to sing it...He needed to add MORE "growl" to it...right?

I totally agree, the song isn't him at all. But I was very happy that he won.
