That made Willona look shallow. Why would she want to go back with that dog of an ex-husband. Ray was creepy looking. It could be the way he was portrayed...giving that look to Thelma on his first visit.

The reason i believe Willona believed Thelma because Thelma rarely lies.(I said RARELY,;) She's lied a few times). And Thelma wouldn't lie about something like that, and Willona knows that Ray was a cad in the past.......

She wasn't 17. She was 18. A legal adult................ She even said in "JJ's New Career"(same season) "I am an adult now."
