They really made Willona look like a gold digger in this episode. (Willona's Surprise) Willona actually admits she was a gold digger in season 5 Janice 05-24-2006, 11:51 AM That made Willona look shallow. Why would she want to go back with that dog of an ex-husband. Ray was creepy looking. It could be the way he was portrayed...giving that look to Thelma on his first visit. Brian Damage 05-24-2006, 11:52 AM Willona actually admits she was a gold digger in season 5 Are you serious? What episode? retrochick9 05-24-2006, 02:24 PM I think Willona was just surprised by the thought of the gift, because she says that he never gave her anything before. Brian Damage 05-24-2006, 02:55 PM I think Willona was just surprised by the thought of the gift, because she says that he never gave her anything before. Yes, that is true, but if she truly hated him like she said, then the gift should've been shoved back into his face. TVFactFan 05-24-2006, 06:26 PM Are you serious? What episode? The 5th season ep when Frank appears for the first time retrochick9 05-24-2006, 07:21 PM Yes, that is true, but if she truly hated him like she said, then the gift should've been shoved back into his face. True, I think she really wanted to believe he changed though. But obviously not. My stupid jerk, Edward keeps me interested despite all the rotten things, because I love his sense of humor and the chemistry. When he is outside the Evans' doorway, he looks ready to tip over................;)  catlover79 10-02-2007, 12:46 AM Sometimes women do get sucked in by their exes, but I thought Willona was too cynical and smart to be taken in by Ray like that. Willona sure did redeem herself by suckerpunching Ray in the face when he got fresh with Thelma. The only mistake she made was not aiming lower. ;) Janice Johnson 10-02-2007, 11:39 AM Sometimes women do get sucked in by their exes, but I thought Willona was too cynical and smart to be taken in by Ray like that. The only mistake she made was not aiming lower. ;) The reason i believe Willona believed Thelma because Thelma rarely lies.(I said RARELY,;) She's lied a few times). And Thelma wouldn't lie about something like that, and Willona knows that Ray was a cad in the past....... TVFactFan 10-02-2007, 11:45 AM Thelma still was foolish for allowing him to come in and she was the only one home.
