It was mentioned in the May 8th issue of People Magazine and last night on Entertainment Tonight that Tina Yothers will be appearing on Celebrity Fit Club.

Get ready for a brand new season of Celebrity Fit Club. But, is the new crop of plus size stars ready to get their just desserts? Or just eat them?

Former Family Ties star Tina Yothers never owned a scale, but told Jan Carl she feels the pressure to look thin.

Tina Yothers: I never had a weight problem, but in this industry, a size 8 is borderline obese.

Tina weighs 193 pounds and if she loses more than 55 pounds she will make good on her promise.

Tina Yothers: I told them the first episode I would walk down that runway in a bikini.

Celebrity Fit Club returns this summer on VH1.

Tina had a baby ten months ago (October 2005). She has a daughter Lily. The August 7th issue of People Magazine mentions Tina's daughter.

I haven't seen Tina in a good number of years (the last time I saw her, I believe, was on a talk show about eight or so years ago!)... It will be interesting to see how she does on Celebrity Fit Club.

Celebrity Fit Club is back for a fourth season as a one-hour reality show in which eight celebrities compete in two teams of four to lose weight and get in shape. In each episode, the celebrities attend a `Fit Camp' where they take part in a range of physical and motivational activities designed to shed pounds, increase team spirit and win prizes. The next day, they face the scales at a `Weigh-In Ceremony' where they'll be individually weighed in by our panel of experts: a doctor, a psychologist and fitness trainer.
