Wow, that Burt Bacharach medley had to be one of the greatest moments in Idol history. Absolutely AMAZING. I wish they had included "Do You Know the Way To San Jose". I love that song :lol:

I loved Katharine's attitude, because it actually made me happy for her. I remember how heartbroken I was to see Diana's face after she lost, but all I can do was smile for Kat.

Congratulations to the Soul Patrol though :D I do have to say though that that was probably the least emotional Idol announcement ever. To me, it just felt so... quick and it just lacked that power that say, Kelly's win had. And this is not just because my favorite lost, but I even felt more emotion when Fantasia won, and Fantasia isn't on my "Favorite Idols" list.

it's just weird for me cause i'm not happy or sad. i mean...it's just o_O. it was a good finale, but the end sucked for me...i mean, i didnt care that kat lost, but it made me think of how happy i was last year at this time and this year it's just...blah. :( oh well.

Wow... that's all I can say! This was the best finale yet to AI!!! So many memorable moments: Chris singing that amazing song with Live, Kelly taking culinary lessons from Wolfgang Puck, Elliott singing U2's "One" with Mary J. Blige, the Burt Bacharach medley and then Dionne Warwick singing "Walk on By", then topped off by the one and only Prince performing! Then to have Taylor win and bring down the house!!! It will be hard to top this one!!! Congrats to Taylor and best of luck to all of the other finalists!!!!

This year's finale was the best finale EVER. I actually forgot after awhile that we were waiting for the results. The guys and girls medleys were both great, and the end Burt Bacharach medley was AMAZING. AAAMMMAAAZING. Everyone sounded great, even people that I didn't like during the season. And I was actually very entertained by the Puck n' Pickler thing :lol: and the cowboys too! It's too bad they sounded crappy during all those clips they showed of them, because on the show they sounded good! And I think the right person won this year...even though I didn't really care who won, I think it's right for Taylor to win since he was obviously the favorite this whole season (he was never in the bottom 3) and I know Katharine would get a record deal anyway too. BEST SEASON FINALE EVER.

I started freaking. I was LOling over that Michael dude freaking out, because that wouldve been me. Clay also just showed that he is the best AI vocalist EVER. Wow. His hair though needs to go, UGH! All the performances kinda dragged on, I wish they had more recap clips and stuff. o_0 BUT they were great performances. I guess they had to pack it all in for all the group performances they left out this season! :lol:

Princ'es appaerance may have been random and, sorta gay LOL, but you gotta admit he was the best guest on there next to Carrie and Bo. Barry Manilow? BLECH Kenny Rogers? BLECH BLECH Rod Stewart? Ok Shakira? Ok Prince? Carrie? Bo? AWESOME!

Because he can sing circles around them all! Dont get me wrong, I think they are all talented, but voice/talent wise, Clays got it. Taylors more of a performer than singer, Kat cant hit the notes like Kelly and ends up shrieking, Elliott is amazing but even when he sings powerful its not that loud, and Chris is best rocking out.

So I think next year I won't tell anyone my favorite. Look what happened this year!!! He's been my favorite since the top 10, and I didn't tell a soul!!! Okay, I told Crystal, but I didn't out and say it. I said, "I have a guy favorite and a girl favorite, T and P" obviously Taylor and Paris. And that was it. AND HE WON!!! Best finale ever. I just wish they'd had something hilarious like Crime Watch last season.

Yay!! Taylor won!! I always feel like a bad luck charm when I root for someone because they never end up winning, but Taylor is my second favorite from this season and he won! Yay! Clay is lucky I didn't watch season 2 because I would have rooted for him, and if I would have rooted for him then he probably would have never made it to the final 2 :lol:
