I know, I can't wait. I have a tape so I can tape the whole thing. Plus just in case you don't know, here's what Taylor and Kat will sing tonight.

Taylor Hicks: "Levon" by Elton John and "Living for the City" by Stevie Wonder. The new single he'll be performing is "Do I Make You Proud" written by Tracy Ackerman, Andrew John Watkins and Paul David Wilson.

Katharine McPhee: The standard "Over the Rainbow" and "Black Horse and the Cherry Tree" by KT Tunstall. The new single she'll perform is called, "My Destiny" written by Hanne Sorvaag.

From the Doc and Johnny show here is a clip of Katharine and Taylor performing "Time of my Life", the Jennifer Warnes/Bill Medley tune from Dirty Dancing. Apparently, they will be performing this tonight. There's also an interview with Simon Cowell done this morning up on the site.

I actually preferred the first time better. She looks extremely nervous, and she didn't go for those money notes. Also, I agree with Simon that this finale is bigger than that song. However, it was still commendable. 8.5/10

Better than the first one, and probably my favorite performance of the season. I got chills. Lovvvvvved it. I'm really praying that her 3rd song is just as good or even better :D

Round 2 goes to Katharine. Some notes were a bit rough towards the middle/end. I enjoyed it though because he settled down a bit.

Looked beautiful, but omg the song was horrendous. They need to get David Foster or somebody to write future Idol songs because that was by far the worst Idol song ever. But, she still sounded great and I felt true emotion from her. I'm sad that she didn't get to end on a strong note, but eh, at least she had a shining moment tonight.

Tonight was amazing. So much better than last year, God. Taylor really brought it tonight and I think Katharine did the worst out of everyone ever on a finale night. Over The Rainbow was good as was Black Horse, but BH like Pauler said is DEF. not finale worthy! And she really didnt sing My Destiny that well at all, I was expecting her to bring it. Taylor was really good and you could tell he was having an awesome time. I actually like his single, though Kelly and Clays still have the best ones to date. Taylor already won this :D and all I can say is FINALLY! Took me 4 years, but Ill take it!

And SQUEE! Elliott! AND ALSO DONT FORGET CLAY IS PERFORMING TOMORROW NIGHT OMG IM DYING.

To all the people who are saying that Taylor's gonna win...You never know. Things have been really unpredictable on AI, especially this season. Sorry to burst your bubble. :/

But with that being said, I do have a feeling that Taylor might take it home. :lookaroun Tonight's finale played out exactly like last year's, with Carrie doing well the first round, Bo doing better on the second, and Carrie BRINGING it in the final round.

Thought Katharine did better on Black Horse and the Cherry Tree the first time. She was AMAZING on Over the Rainbow...best performance of the night. My Destiny was weird...She came off weak in the beginning, did REALLY well in the middle, and ended off like eeehhhhh.

Taylor was great on Living for the City. Levon was definitely pitchy though. However, he was AWESOME on Wanna Make You Proud... At first I was a little nervous cuz you know me, always bitching that the girls always do better on the finale song. :lol: But he owned it. That definitely screamed AMERICAN IDOL.

I think Katharine picked better songs to sing, but that last song just gave way to Taylor.

Honestly, I'll be a little disappointed if Katharine wins tomorrow because it'll just prove that AI is a beauty contest rather than a singing competition. pissed: But I'll also be happy because she has been one of my favorites since the beginning. I really do want Taylor to win though. There hasn't been an Idol winner like him yet. :)

The site has been right so far. OMG. Because it was right a few times when idol started. But I do think Taylor will win. I agree with Simon last night. He was very good on the first and last song. I REALLY loved that last song.
