...but how is SONY going to explain the fact that two of those first 35 episodes were filmed in COLOR, while the rest are in black & white? By golly, they'd better explain [or KNOW] the facts before they release that box set!!

I know of only the one episode from Season 1 that was in color, the one in which Hazel wants to buy a color TV. The color episodes didn't start till the second season. If there was a 2nd color episode from season 1, I'd like to know what it was, as I think the world awaits that announcment.

There is only one color episode from the first season. And that will be solved easily by putting "Black & White and Color" on the back of the box - it has been done many times before - not a big deal.

I'm amazed that they are putting this show out on DVD. This is one of my fond (and early) childhood memories, and I don't think I've ever seen it since. Shirley Booth was perfect in her role.
