Does anyone remember the one case where there was a guy standing far away from a house or building with a video camera in his hand and recording it burning on fire. He was also saying satanic things if i can remember. Then he left it on the side of the road for someone to pickup. Please help me with any info someone has on this case.

they caught the "creepy arsonist" because several people recognized the voice as being that of some chicken sacrificing, blood drinking, heavy metal listening teenager. He was put on a national list of "known arsonists" according to Robert Stack.

In addition to being featured on UM, the case has also been the subject of a Cold Case Files episode entitled "Fire Flicks". Because the arsonists were juvenilles, their names were never publicly disclosed.

If you ask me, this was one of the most terrifying segments, ever. These weren't ghosts or aliens, these were kids who didn't care that they were ruining peoples' livelihoods. It always reminded me of the Columbine killers and how they videotaped themselves before the murders.

I don't know the exact airdate, but I'm certain that it aired early in the 1990-91 season (most likely in the fall of 1990).

I watched this segment yesterday, and actually...one of them wasn't a minor, he was 19. And only one of them was forced to sign up as a known arsonist (don't know which one, though)
