what version of Windows and WMP are you using?

are these files on your hard drive, are they streaming, or is this embedded in a web page?

when did this start happening? have you changed anything recently that could have affected it?

you could try to update or reinstall Windows Media Player (or try the same files in a different player), or try to install the http://www.free-codecs.com/download/K_Lite_Mega_Codec_Pack.htmhttp://www.free-codecs.com/download/K_Lite_Mega_Codec_Pack.htm to make sure you have all the right codecs installed.

It is a Window MP 10 and it happens to stuff that I click in links. It just started happening two weeks ago for some reason. I upgraded to a version 10 from a version 9.
