Bienvenido a este foro. He sido miembro aqui desde el 7 de abril de 2006. Soy bastante mayor que Ud., pero me alegro que Ud esta aqui. Soy estadounidense y aprendi el espanol cuando era estudiante. No conozco Unsolved Mysteries (o sea, he oido del show, pero nunca lo he visto).

De todos modos, ojala que le guste este foro de mensajes, y otra vez,

(Even though I speak Spanish, I never learned how to put accent marks when writing Spanish on the computer; something about changing the kepboard language. I have to get more computer literate!)

TY...and i should have known that, cause the French word for "Sure" is "certes" :)

Ok, all are very friendly and someday i will teach some of spanish, but the spanish is a hard idiom, accents and other things :crazy:...

In this moment i am studying english in my school, this site and other is helpful for me, thanx :D

i just type the word on a translation site, because they always put the accents on the word. I know there's a code, but I'm not sure what it is so I just do that.

I'm know I'm not Ashlee :p but to get that, hold down the Alt key and type in 0205 with the numbers on the right side of the keyboard. :winkgrin

The Tilde or accent is used in this word (with N, S or vocal to the finsih)

- Canción (sing)
- Pájaro (bird)
- Estás (this) - Estas (is)

The diference of the accents is in this example:

Hola, cómo estás? = Hello, how are you?
Cómo = How
Como = Eat, eating...

Estás = are, is...
Estas = This, these...

The accent in the spanish is very important in a formal conversation...

The spanish is a difficult idiom for foreigners :crazy:

Vivo en el sur de México, cerca de Yucatán, una zona petrolera, pero soy de Veracruz, por la falta de acentos, no importa, yo también a veces sufro de esos errores 'hOrTogrAfÍkOs' :lol:
