Where I work, there is a canopy and a driveway right at the door, where people can drop off patients at the door or have their car valeted. It is not a place to park obviously. Well, it seems like at least once a day someone comes in just to pick up something and leave right away. Fine, but they always think they can just park their at the door and run in. Um...does it look like a parking space? Why can't these people just get a parking spot like a normal person and run in?? Oh no, they'd have to walk an extra 50 steps!! Never would I even think to do that. I'd get a parking spot even if I was only going to be there a minute. These people strike me as incredibly lazy because so far, none of them have looked disabled in anyway. ohno:
What's your take?

Hmmm..how wide is the drop off area? If it's pretty narrow, I'd say they deserve a slap in the face. If it's plenty wide for other cars to drive through/park, then I probably wouldn't think much of it. Unless they have to walk pretty far through the building...lots of variables!

Maybe these people are like Maris (Niles' unseen wife from Frasier.) In one episode, Niles mentioned that Maris had a lot of unpaid parking tickets, and Frasier replied, "What can you expect from someone who thinks her chocolate allergy enables her to park in a handicapped space?"
So maybe these people are like Maris and think their chocolate allergies enable them to park in a spot that's generally for patients?

Some people are indeed just lazy and inconsiderate of others...

Yes, Maris probably wouldn't have a problem with that, either. :)

they are lazy but more than that I think they are too inconsiderate to realize that they are in the way.
